That was many years ago but, she still feels the excitement of just going South of LBJ can bring. When you know you are really in Dallas, Texas home of the Cowboys, the Mavericks and let’s face it the Rangers are really Dallas’s team.
Jean started her working career after just two interviews and was lucky enough to work in downtown Dallas. Downtown was the business hub of Dallas. Large Department stores on every street, restaurants and cafes that catered to the lunch crowd and sky scrapers filled with law offices, banks, title companies, accounting firms, insurance companies and all types of business professionals. Downtown was the place to be and that is where Jean wanted to be, too.
Jean was diligent in her work and committed to learning all she could in her industry, with a nonsense approach and her attention to details allowed her to advance quickly.
Work was not and still isn’t her only interest. She loved her time off and took advantage of living in Dallas by exploring so many of the wonderful attractions Dallas offered. The unique neighborhoods, the arts, concerts and yes the tourist attractions, too. There is always something to do in Big “D”. But, the best was yet to come.
In a few years she married the most handsome man she ever met and moved to the suburbs, with her precious Dallas only a few miles away. They had two children one girl and one boy a perfect family. Jean enjoys her family above all and says that the best years of her life were raising her children. She was very involved in their lives going to their sporting events, dance recitals, piano recitals, theatre productions and just enjoying them with their friends.
In her early career she worked in Title Insurance as an Escrow Officer closing commercial and some residential real estate transactions. It only seemed fitting that when her children were both in school that she would embark on a Real Estate career as an Agent.
